Yep. And so will they. The price skyrocketed this season. As long as it isn't my money, I'm just glad we're competing.

Is this the new reality of Aggie basketball? Having to essentially rebuild the roster every season with very little consistency seems like we're going to be in this same predicament every season for the foreseeable future.

It's the new reality period. Not just aggie basketball. More than half of all cbb players are in the portal. Are some of you just waking up after a 6 year nap?

we have two great freshman coming in. Recruiting well. We had to build a roster from scratch this season so it'll take a minute. We aren't going to do the Buzz method where we keep an give heavy minutes to guys who shouldn't be on high major rosters just because they're good guys who read to kids.

I think caps on number of transfers are coming. This is too much for coaches and staffs to handle.

I don't really care if players get paid, but some kind of contract or limit on transfers needs to happen.

Maybe the coaches need their salaries and length of service regulated first. They make the real money.

And here is the weird thing, we are keeping Vison and McDermott. I understand if players want to leave, but the irony of it all, is that every coach is trying to gain consistency. And at the risk of sounding condescending, we seem to be doing so with players that were not high contributors in any category.
I am hoping that the wallet is still large enough to bring another rim protector that can score like Agee, and a few more athletic guards that can create drives or score from distance. We'll need it bad.
