Where are all the bulldog fans who said they would beat ole miss?

As I told MSUBulldog after Bama killed them, they would be lucky to make it to 8-4. They are a below average team that had probably the easiest first 7 games of anyone in a AQ conference outside the Big East.

We still have a chance at a nine win season if we win our bowl game. Hey, it would be easy to ditch my alma mater and become a t-shirt fan of LSU or Bama like a lot of people in LA, MS, and AL do, but I'm sticking with my school through thick and thin!

Where are you looking to head, bulldog? Gator Bowl perhaps? I think a Big Ten team would be a very favorable match-up.

It looks like the Gator Bowl will select either Vandy or us. If Vandy goes we'll probably drop down to the the Compass Bowl since we went to the Music City last year.

CBS is projecting MSU vs Wisconsin in the Gator but we'll just have to wait until this Sunday to see.

Conventional wisdom is that Miss St is a Top 20 team and Ole Miss is like Kentucky. My numbers show those 2 teams are about dead even. Let's see how those 2 teams do during the second half of this season. And who wins the egg bowl.

Not many believed me when I started this thread in mid-October, especially since MSU was undefeated. But I was right. Ole Miss was better than most people thought and MSU wasn't as good. It will be interesting to see if Mullen can hang onto his job.
