The timing is just about right to be in a court in spring of next year. Tie them up and make them defend it.
Someone posted that Vegas odds for Monday's game was 210 to 240 (something like that, don't recall the exact number) but finished by stating the odds were predicting a TN blowout. Most felt "why" a blowout...(?)CrottyKid said:ElephantRider said:But if you really think about some of the decisions he made, it starts to look like there was. I don't think there was a mass conspiracy to lose, and I believe making that claim makes us look insane. It does, however, look like there are plenty of provable things that will come out... I think we should let it all flow out to national media. Looks like there are plenty willing to take up the cause.
If he lost on purpose, he probably also bet on the game. That's the stone we need to overturn.
That post did not mean anything, it was basically made by a person that did not understand vegas odds.Farmer @ Johnsongrass, TX said:Someone posted that Vegas odds for Monday's game was 210 to 240 (something like that, don't recall the exact number) but finished by stating the odds were predicting a TN blowout. No idea why they are holding onto it.
There may be truth to it, but I'm curious how they know. And why they won't share. I think they must have next to nothing - just rumor mill. Hope I'm wrong because I want schloss and t.u. to burn.Hornbeck said:

Probably because if a lawsuit happens, we don't want them to know what evidence we have.Hornbeck said:

just thinking logically-
Schloss could demand MORE MONEY from TU if he was a national champion rather than a runner up.
he has ZERO reason to want to deliberately tank a national title.
not to mention he would be one of the few to win multiple titles at different universities.
don't buy it.
Totally false. Tu pays more if he talks us. Use your head.

It's worth a hell of a lot more to tu when we lose. Put that in your pipe and smoke it.

I don't exactly buy it, but there is ONE VERY good reason to throw the series if he knew he was leaving already: recruiting. He now has to recruit against us. Do you think he'd prefer to recruit against the champ, and the momentum that brings with it, or runner-up?

Thinking tu would ever get the death penalty is just dreaming.admiraltarkin said:usmcbrooks said:
If true....hit tu with the death penalty.
Even if not true, they should get it anyway

CDC is not stupid enough to leave a trail that will lead back to Texas. I'd expect them to use untraceable phones and actual phone calls, through proxies, as a very basic precaution. This type of thing has to be thought through beforehand. I expect a lot of allegations, scant evidence all this to blow over relatively soon.

"Proxy" is the key word here. Third parties can certainly contact players at any time. I would think that would include non-captive NIL operations which might be loosely associated with the Longhorns.
Unless Schloss or A&M staff gave the burner phones to the students and/or communications between Schloss and those proxy's was coordinated, I'm not sure where this goes.
But if Schloss was telling our player during the season and during CWS that he was leaving for Austin and at the same time NIL people from Austin were contacting our players (via burner phones), that is underhanded to say the least.
