Not sure how that question gets asked.

1. The article is from a known longhorn pumping newspaper.
2. POS is a proven liar.
3. POS is a narcissist.
4. POS is a suspected sociopath if not outright psychopath.
5. CDC is also 2-3 and will do anything to deflect from tu.

To even entertain POS's lies are foolish.

And, if Albert's were not fully engaged on a coaching hire right now, I would expect him to go to the press and shut POS down.

There's not a single damning thing about Trev in that interview. There is a massive amount of Dewshenagel trying to play the innocent victim and standup guy for being soooo insulted that Trev just simply stated that if he didn't like A&M he isn't being forced to stay there. Dewshenagel has God syndrome and can't believe Trev didn't kneel at the alter to worship him.

Folks, I know this sucks right now, and Dewshenagel is a good coach, but I think we got lucky and need to remember that no man is bigger than Texas A&M.

Didn't mean to hit that emoji, dammmmmmmit!

Pretty damning if so. I think it's embellishment by Jim.

So, you just drop this and leave? I certainly hope you read the responses that point out that Schlossnagle's alleged May 31 conversation with Trev came weeks after Schloss had already agreed to take the job, at a point where he was already working with t.u.'s NIL folks (and apparently, some A&M recruits and players) to direct kids to Austin to play for him next year. Re-read the article with that bit of context and tell us why you would have any problem with what Schloss claims Alberts said, because I certainly don't.

He wins but I would not call him a great coach bc of how we now know he treated the players.

Winning coach. Yes
Great coach. No

There's more to being a great coach than winning.

As others have posted. This has galvanized the Aggie fan base and administration. In Texas's attempt to hurt us, they accutually have made us stronger.

I agree; just didn't want to deflect from the topic of this thread and say what I want to say.

He's not considering her feelings. He's considering all the things they are going to do in Austin. Rumors are they have an open relationship. That kind of thing is a lot more prevalent in Austin Texas.

Oh man, I know you have stores. My ex was the same. I could right a book and people would think it was fiction bc of the crazy **** they do.

We might have to get a beer sometime and swap crazy ex narcissist stories.

And for those thinking how are we laughing at this. You have to at some point. It helps

You might get a projection of their feelings onto their idea of you. That's about as good as you're going to get. They just can't conceive of someone feeling differently about something than they do.

Amen.

Just the stuff coming out about his treatment of Chestnut makes my blood boil. None of our players should have to go through that kind of crap. That Travis stuck with it is his testament to how much heart that guy has.

There is tough love and there is abuse. POS uses the later.

Never won a championship. Probably a reason for that.

The fact that the home plate ump asked Chestnut if he was okay makes the mama bear in me ferocious!!! The fact that the ump recognized that Chestnut was upset but the coach continued to put him down and make him doubt himself should tell everyone exactly who Schloss is.

tu is in full "damage control" at this point and will do as much as they can to try and spin this story in a way to make them look less bad. I don't think they ever imagined the amount of negative press this hire would generate not only around Aggieland and Texas but on a national scale.

Reactions from around the country are super negative and tu and ******nozzle are busy trying to put out this PR nightmare. At this point, most people have their opinion on this subject and are likely not going to be swayed too much by further developments, unless something really noteworthy comes to light.

We need to focus on hiring the next coach who can retain as many players and help us continue the ride we are on in baseball.

He even straight up contradicted their story by saying he met with players knowing he was leaving before he even talked to CDC when getting back.

So he did meet with the team or wished he had?

Yep. Narcissists going to do what narcissists do. Don't expect them to change, either.

I can see Alberts going to sch-loss and saying something about him seeming unhappy, or disgruntled (whatever word he used). The rest was probably 'embellssment'.

I don't remember the exact context of that at bat, but I also seriously doubt the ump was doing a mental health check on the kid. If he saw him wobble or wince he might have been checking on his physical health. Some of those games were hot as hell (don't think that one was particularly bad). Maybe there was a foul ball or something in that AB.

Stated this on the Chestnut thread. Coaches like Schloss typically always have a black sheep on the team. They always need one player they can belittle to deal out their unhappiness on.

During the CWS my son was getting frustrated with Travis's at bats. I informed him yesterday about everything and why his at bats looked that way. He first replied that he now felt bad for thinking that way and he should have known something was up. And then he replied that's horrible for a coach to do that one.

A friend of mine who works in the AD said that Schloss hit the ground here in Aggieland *****ing. Nothing was good enough and he made sure that everybody knew it, and it never let up the entire time he was here. So if that continued…and there is apparently no reason to believe that it calmed down…I could see where Trev may call him on the constant state of misery he's been in since he got here

This is a typical move by a narcissist. As others mentioned…..he is blaming others for his actions. He is also trying to cast doubt on people who have some integrity.

Schloss probably forgot in his dealings with Trev Alberts that Alberts won a Butkus Award, played under Tom Osborne, won a national championship, played in the NFL and has seen a vast array of different college/professional coaching personalities in his career.

Narcissistic behavior always tries to blame or tear down anything or anybody that doesn't comply with a narrative

Trev is running a healthy athletic program

Never trust a lying dirt bag. And even if it wasn't BS, there was no excuse for the way he did this. I'm sure he had lots of excuses for why he cheated on his wife too.

This was clearly a hit piece to try to repair schlossnagles image. The horns will stop at nothing to politick and get their way.

I meant CP needs to be replaced after being let go, not the man running the Aggie baseball camps at the moment. My mistake

I say keep Schloss talking. The more the guy speaks, it only hurts him. Listen to players from past and present.

He has the demeanor of a petulant child.

Anyone that leaves a job based upon a vague exchange without trying to clarify or workout the situation is just justifying doing what they wanted to do in the first place.
