This is all about the Longhorn PR machine trying to do damage control for Schloss. Yes its likely true but big picture is this a reason to leave? Its all about Schloss wanting to be with CDC in Austin. We are going to start seeing more and more of this kind of stuff trying to redeem Schloss and his character.

Would like to add that a late diagnosis of bipolar disease is often a diagnosis of exclusion. Many times a patient's behavior has been problematic for some time because they have a personality disorder (eg. - narcissism). Personality disorders are essentially untreatable and psychiatrists HATE these disorders because of that fact, so they will often travel the patient through a series of diagnosis that have a medication that could possibly provide relief. Usually start with anti-depressants because personality disorder patients are frequently depressed and then find that it doesn't help. They may identify an incidence suggestive of schizophrenia and put them on antipsychotics which then eventually fails as well. They will eventually work their way to a diagnosis of bipolar disease and change the meds accordingly. But if it's a personality disorder and the meds seem to be helping, it's likely because the PD symptoms tend to "burn out" as the patient ages. The 30's are a little early for this burn out to occur, but they could have mellowed somewhat and it still be attributed to the new diagnosis & meds.


TLDR - sometimes it's a late diagnosis of bipolar dz, sometimes it's just a personality disorder like narcissism

Bomb could refer to information about that exchange or other convos between Alberts and Schloss that disproves their narrative. He didn't mention sanctions or legal action.

Not to derail, but have a problem treating these personality disorders as diseases; like cancer or heart disease, which are both life threatening and beyond the control of the victim. Whereas the personality disorders involve a lot of choice making on the part of the "victim". Wish they'd come up with some kind of alternative language to differentiate these so-called "diseases" like alcoholism and Bipolar etc.
