Where are you getting this info that Kent wants assurances to play SS. Haven't seen that anywhere. He's a very natural 2nd baseman.
To me, Kent looks too slow for SS.

I thought Kent looked smoothest at third base. Obviously that's probably not happening with the players the Aggies might have. His value is in the amount of positions he can play adequately.

He's the starting 2b when the season starts if he stays

Eeeyone keeps writing Binderup off. They shouldn't. I think we could have a real issue with finding positions for guys to play with Binderup, Bergevin, Grahovac, & Hensler competing for the same fielding positions. Add in Schott coming back as a potential DH spot and it gets tough to find a spot if those guys live up to expectations.
I hope you're right. But of those players, two hit .300+ with 20+ HRs. One hit ~.270 with 18 HRs. One hit .230 with 1 HR.

Maybe if Bindy was at a small school he'd have hit 20 bombs. But I haven't seen it yet. I am not writing him off, but he'll need to do it. Hell Condon was a walk -on.

If Binderup wants to play he will go to a smaller school. Sucks cause I watched him since he was little all the way through HS and really wanted him to excel here. He's not going to be an impact player at A&M.

I guess I'm just not ready to say anyone is the starting anything until I know our roster. I mean if he's at 2B who plays SS? Because it's likely Ali is gone (but we don't know either way for sure). One of the freshman? We've got 2 really good fish SS coming in unless MLB takes one.

I don't know if Hensler is 3B, 1B, 2B, DH, if he's at A&M or LSU...

I don't know if Binderup is 1B, DH or the bench

I don't know if Bargavin in 1B or OF

I REALLY don't know who the C is going to be.

I only thing I feel great about is Jace & Sorrell are 2 starting OFers, but that is assuming they're back (I think they will be). But I don't know position. I'm assuming Jace is CF.

Earley has a helluva job ahead of him re-recruiting these players and letting them know HIS plan for where they will be given a chance to earn playing time.

I personally think so too, but I haven't seen enough of him to definitively say. But with Hensler, Bergevin, etc. potentially blocking him it's a tall task based on what I saw in limited playing time this year.

He might, but that isn't the indication so far. Of course it's all dependent on the draft slot.
