It would have been great to snag him, if only to stick it to the Sips. While he was BXII POY, it's a pretty low bar.

Sips played 3 SEC teams all year.
1-4, 2K against LSU
1-3, 1K against A&M
1-5, 1K against A&M
----------
3-12, 4K in 3 Games.

This guy just announced - RHP who only pitched 8 innings as a true freshman, with a 9.72 ERA. Looks like he grew up in WI and he was rated a 10 by PerfectGame out of HS. I wonder if Longley is going after him?
