Post game interview with coach Earley. For those saying we're ignoring the problem watch it. He's frustrated with the offense and fielding and not the first post game interview he's said that.

yes, the Ags have 4 designated hitters on the roster, but only 1 can start at DH each gameSean98 said:
I want to see Bergevin get some run. If Gavin is hurt he needs to rest. Galloway got a day off yesterday but I think we need to see more of Bear or Jamal behind the plate just so we know what they can do if necessary. Binderup could DH. If Sorrell isn't ready George could play an OF spot and Farr could play 2B.
I don't love that we play everyone out of position but that's how this team is composed.

Gavin still seemed to be having some trouble with his wrist. Noticed him holding it after he grounded out early in the game
Forgot about the early balls hit deep that seemingly got knocked down by the wind. Still the last 6 innings the bats were lack luster.bdp514am said:
not to mention that the Aggies were about 18 inches from scoring 9 runs today. Yes the bats have started off slowly. I think the cold weather probably factors into that. I'm not too worried about the bats. More doubts regarding defense and closer.

I agree with most of this except Bear as of right now is the backup catcher.phatty26 said:
That's good but he's the one trotting this lineup out there quit being loyal and try something different Tuesday.
Berghevin for Binderup, Wyatt at 3rd, Grahovac at DH Schott on bench, George or Kiel at 2nd, Sorrell in if he's back, Bear at catcher
Kent is a MAJOR downgrade from Ali? Where do you people come from?WhoopN06 said:
Gavin is clearly injured and it's affecting his defense. Kash is a weak defender in LF. Kent is fine but a major downgrade from Ali. Binderup is a downgrade from Ted Burton. Catcher, either of them, are major major downgrades from Appel.
You're a clown. I guarantee you that the worst of D1 baseball teams avg more than 3 runs per game. Of course some teams lose giving up 3 runs, but we weren't facing a sec weekend starter today either. I'm sure you won't be able to wrap those mashed potatoes around that, so I will type slower for you. You cannot score two runs and EXPECT to beat anybody.Fquin said:AggieBB said:3 runs should never be enough to beat this team. Especially against a team like CP. so yeah the 20 pop ups were definitely the biggest reason we dropped this game.Fquin said:Sean98 said:WRONG.Fquin said:
Early getting cute with the pitchers cost us that game. He'll learn. But, that sucked!
****ty fielding and 20 popups cost us that game.
Really, cause none of that gave up 3 runs with a 2 run lead by a freshman after a previous pitcher had shut them down on very few pitches. But, you do you.
Edit so, one run was due to an error.
3 runs is enough to beat any team in the country. Your premise is ridiculous. This ain't beer league softball.
