There's some who care more about whining than watching baseball.
Because it is just baseball and good teams lose to bad teams all the time. I turned on the TV yesterday and the Red Sox needed a comeback to beat Northeastern University 5-2.HoustonAg2106 said:jkag89 said:Nobody is ignoring a damn thing. We're two weekends into the season. I wish people would stop acting like they don't see the problems on this team that need to be fixed. No one is jumping off a cliff, but it's very fair to say this team has a lot of work to do
The people that are saying it's just baseball and this team will be fine are the ones ignoring the problems. This team is very different from last year, I think some are just assuming we can fast forward to regionals and worry about performance then

Probably because those of us at the game don't feel the need to pull our phone out to post as we'd rather watch the game.

Early getting cute with the pitchers cost us that game. He'll learn. But, that sucked!
****ty fielding and 20 popups cost us that game.
Really, cause none of that gave up 3 runs with a 2 run lead by a freshman after a previous pitcher had shut them down on very few pitches. But, you do you.
Edit so, one run was due to an error.
3 runs is enough to beat any team in the country. Your premise is ridiculous. This ain't beer league softball.

My taste fluctuates, but I'm back to Bulleit as a daily pour. Much cheaper than the Four Roses SB which I had been stuck on before thisSean98 said:A really good daily drinker. You'll like it.RED AG 98 said:

It's time to start dinner so see you Tuesday. I'll have live commentary from hopefully a much warmer Olsen.

Good pour as well. I think most everything has been in the rotation at one point. Well, not the Weller Millenium……Sean98 said:2 words... Henry McKenna. (A) Freshcorn has fresh in his name but he's a sophomore.
(B) You have no idea that Rudis wouldn't have given it up.
(C) Had we gotten a hit in any of 5 different scenarios 3 runs wouldn't have mattered.
(D) Errors put pitchers in a bad position all day.
Yes Freshcorn gave up runs but A&M scoring only 2 is the real issue.

Their catcher is a stud better than any we have on our roster.
What? You mean better catcher right? Otherwise please share your drugs with the rest of the class.

There's 305 teams in NCAA baseball... Last year the 305th ranked team in runs per game averaged 4.2 runs per game.
Go ahead and average 3 runs a game. You'll be the 500th ranked team out of 305.
I want to see Bergevin get some run. If Gavin is hurt he needs to rest. Galloway got a day off yesterday but I think we need to see more of Bear or Jamal behind the plate just so we know what they can do if necessary. Binderup could DH. If Sorrell isn't ready George could play an OF spot and Farr could play 2B.Who?mikejones! said:
Here's what I might run out there Tuesday:

Hensler- 3b

Galloway- catcher
There are lies, damn lies and then there are statistics.Amazing Moves said:
Managed to score 2 runs against a 15 era pitcher. Not a great showing today.

I don't love that we play everyone out of position but that's how this team is composed.
