Either someone doesn't know what the **** he's doing or this team has thrown in the towel eleven games into the season.

To see an entire team regress is pretty shocking. Hoping they can wake up soon but man there's not one thing pointing in the right direction right now.

We have lost 5 of our last 6 games, including our last 3 home games. This is not a good sign before SEC play begins with a home series against Alabama on 3/14.

The weight of the world? Get some perspective. They're playing like a team who has been very confident, haven't been held accountable, and done zero true grinding to prepare for the season.

Would never happen but would love to hear from the players on what practices are like this year compared to the previous few seasons.

Not toast yet but we are getting pretty close to needing to worry about making the tournament at all which is wild to say at the beginning of March. Turning it around in conference play will be a large task to say the least.

What have you seen from THIS team that makes you think it can be turned around? Just because some of these guys were part of an amazing team last year, doesn't mean they have it this year. This team is beyond lost. SEC play starts next weekend and they are about to get rocked. I don't know what's wrong, but this team stinks.

Earley ain't the guy. Who are our top three candidates to replace him?

This is definitely getting to be concerning. This is likely the most talented team Early will ever have (especially if we don't turn this around) and we are massively under performing. I am always cautiously optimistic anytime we hire someone with no head coaching experience. Not sure why we feel we can't get a guy with experience that knows how to take us further. Early seems like he is trying to figure it out. Guess this is what you get when you let 18-22 year olds make your hiring decision.

I am not giving up on this team and never will, but also not booking my trip to Omaha.

The lack of fundamentals is what continues to set off alarm bells on Earley. You see middle school travel ball teams that run the bases and field better than we do. It's insanely bad. I could believe the poor hitting is them pressing but the awful fielding and base running are inexcusable. Other than our 3 starters, no one can throw a strike? How is that possible? The walks and hbp combined with errors are just giving away runs. Plain and simple, we are beating ourselves.

This comes back to leadership - not sure why Jace sat out most offseason but it's showing. Not sure if there's something to him citing a nagging injury as a reason not to participate (when there really wasn't much of a problem) but that's the kind of stuff that was going on when jimbo's five stars were doing that in football. I could see that setting a pretty bad standard in the clubhouse - especially seeing as he was one of the loudest voices supporting Earley. This is just me speculating so correct me if I'm wrong re: how much he participated in fall/spring ball.

This team could struggle all season, or they could snap out of it and make us all forget this awful start. Right now, I wouldn't want to bet on either outcome.

People who think the season is over already ought to go back and look at Ole Miss in 2022. There is still plenty of time to turn it around, but it's not going to happen unless we get right mentally (and we also need Sorrell back in the lineup, desperately).

there is zero manufacturing or situational awareness going on. It's just go-to-the-plate and swing as hard as you can.
