Didn't the sips start talking to POS about this time last year? Trev needs to start right now looking for next year's coach. Wouldn't mind if we considered the coach that just swept us. Bring him back to his home state....

Wait, werent we told that this guy was the one? I could have sworn i read he nailed the interview and that aggie baseball was better off with this coach?
Hmmm...were we lied to?
I'm sure people really believed it went they said that, I think they were just wrong
Also the pitching coach (the three starters are excellent but huge questions about everyone else.)CrottyKid said:

Well folks, it is what it is.
The best thing that we can do is support the man, and his fellow coaches. That is what I would want if I were in his shoes.
With Sorrell and Grahovac, it would be a fine roster. There's nothing subpar talent-wise with regard to Laviolette in center, Henseler at third, Kent at short (he's not got the range of Camarillo, but he's fine), and Kash at first. Having a couple of freshman in the lineup in Kiel and Farr might not be optimal for this year, but without the injuries, neither would be playing. You don't expect catcher to carry you at the plate (we were spoiled with Appel last year).W said:
Earley knows he needs new or dfferent players
this is not a good roster position player-wise by SEC standards
I don't believe I ever saw that interview, but recall him saying in his introduction that he believed he was the right guy and was built for this moment. I am paraphrasing, but he certainly was confident in the moment.fightintxaggie10 said:
I wish I could find the interview, but he definitely said he didn't even want to be a HC at this point in his career AFTER he accepted the HC position at Texas A&M. I think he felt obligated when the offer was made but he still wanted to have a position on a staff for a couple more years before making the leap.

Our problems aren't in the field. Sure we have some errors but we did last year too.
It's all about the offense and we look lost at the plate. Tell Longley to take a hike and get in there, Earley
Well apparently it's never too early to start talking to him...as we learned last year.trouble said:
I doubt he's more interested than he was last year.

The roster is OK. The results are not.

I was wondering... what if Earley assumed hitting again, and Jason Kelly did HC/pitching (eff a title, let's just try something)? Maybe it's the never-been-a-head coach pressure? Kelly's been one. I'd try anything at this point.

That's not going to happen

I thought Earley is the hitting coach….or was that just a sly joke??
He was previously. Caleb Longley is our current hitting coach.

That's not even a realistic suggestion
In fact, players have been giving interviews after losses all season.missinAggieland said:GymBroFisher said:
unfortunately our opposition is not going to feel bad for him at all.
We're not asking our opposition to feel bad for him. But this interview is extremely hard to watch.
There are two major points or questions:
Often younger coaches still talk to their former bosses for guidance. After listening to Vitello, my guess is that snake is not an option for any coach mentorship. So, where can Earley turn for mentorship early in his career?
I know players are off limits for post-game interviews, but maybe they should be a part of this. Allow them to take on leadership and ownership.

Vitello with this team would compete for a national championship
honestly you shouldn't even post this unless you can actually back it up with the interview.fightintxaggie10 said:

All things considered I'd say he's doing a pretty good job. 2.94 team ERA.
