I would offer Vaughn the moon to be our coach next year. Quite literally cannot manage to understand what is happening this year, but I don't want a repeat. We can't afford to keep losing ground.

The hitting coach is also bad and should be fired. Earley can coach hitting and be head coach. There is time at practice to do that. It doesn't take long to make a lineup

And this needs to be done before the last day of the regular season. Doesn't have to be announced before the end of his current season but it's needs to be a done deal.
This is the tricky part. Say Trev decides Vaughn is his guy. What happens if Bama makes a deep run at Omaha? How sure can you be that he is coming, even if his agent tells you right now that he will take the job? we did not have a chance to keep him. Not sure why it is so hard to understand, but many on here have posted about him wanting to be at Texas. He was never going to be here long term. We would have been better off hiring a coach with a lot of experience and tenure that would have won more games with this entire lineup at Texas.
I hate saying this but it is the hard truth. I refused to accept it as a lover of this team and sports.

Time to move on and if our AD doesnt land a HUGE HR hire with this much advanced notice? We are royally screwed.
