Jace does really need to work on his overall hitting. He pulls off of so many change ups/sliders/curveballs down in the zone and also, even more discouragingly, often whiffs on fastballs right down the middle. Does not make solid contact on nearly enough of his at bats.

That was Jeff Head being Dick Head. He's the second base ump, anyway, and think that check is only called for when a pitcher enters the game in relief, or is the pitcher being relieved. Moss was neither.
