I had him pegged as the most important player on the entire roster, with Wilson and either Sdao or one of the 3 starters becoming the top pen arms.

A coach who can't yank his starter "early" puts a huge psychological burden on the team. We've got one month left to build that "next man up" mentality. I told my son 2 nights ago that like it or not, Rudis will have to be a part of that. He had a good weekend, but can he get outs in high leverage?

I preached that message to the "younger" crowd earlier in my career… i was wrong… way wrong.

C level executives in the IT world sport Tattoos of all sorts proudly. I will say neck and face tats are still a no go. But its around the corner… imho
