When the pop fly is heading out to left field, that is the left fielder's ball, not the shortstop's ball. The Gamecocks screwed up that play already, yesterday, and appear to have not learned much from that error.

Fwiw, I have broadcast games solo before (HS football on radio) and it's not easy. That said, sometimes less is more but it was radio.

This game is on TV, we can see it so he shouldn't have to talk near as much.

Put ESPN on mute and play around with the pause button on the radio broadcast until they're pretty close to synced up. Been doing this since SEC play started and I enjoy watching the games so much more!

I can't imagine trying to do pbp and color solo. I think it'd be pretty easy to overcompensate wanting to avoid too much silence. A little more awkward when you don't have a partner to fill in every now and then.

Maybe so, but his voice does bring me back to all the Kyle and Reed halftime reports. I don't mind the nostalgia. At least he's one of the few pro-aggie voices to call a game.
