The idea is that you revert the score to what it was after the most recent complete inning, which in this case is the end of the 6th inning, so if the game is called, we would win 3-2 I believe

There may be a very brief break but otherwise raining and storming until midnight. I seriously doubt this game is finished.

Our AD needs to let them have it about the late start times with very bad weather coming.

There was a light shower over Fayetteville for a short time, but most of heavier stuff seems to be out to the west and moving faster to the N than E. We'll see what happens, but it seems like either it is restarted soon or it goes in the books as a W (and not the directional kind)!

Thanks - I read it a couple times and didn't get it.
It is basically saying it is an official game if 5 innings are complete or 4.5 innings if the home team is up. In other words, this game meets the criteria if they can not resume due to the weather.

Why not? The final game was originally scheduled for tomorrow. Games suspended due to weather have often been carried over to the next day.

I won't feel bad if it's called. What year was it where we were rolling against Arkansas at Olsen and then they had to pull the tarp right before the game was over. We played the last couple of innings the next day and the whole momentum shifted and we ended up losing. Then lost the next game and it kind of derailed the rest of the season. Payback.
