Started 0-4 then won their last seven including the Cotton Bowl vs Bama and Bear Bryant.

I guess I am kind of old but that season is the first one I have a decent memory of.

Me too. I admit after the run rule/no hit loss to the Vols I thought this team was on a path to the Ags worst ever SEC season.


Would love to know what was said on that bus ride back to the hotel after that game.

There was a ton of coach-bashing, but the reality is that no coach could have driven that group of players that low that fast. The players were doing it to themselves. And the players have fixed it.

Man it's almost like there's a guy that makes a million bucks to make sure the players are ready to play who was utterly failing at his job 3 weeks ago. The loyalty to a highly paid coach that has done nothing to earn it is insane to me. Regardless we still have a hill to climb for a post season bid, so you might want to calm down. You're spiking the ball on the 20 sir.

Great series win. Lets do it again in Austin next week.

I know everyone feels great and wants to hand out I told you so's (as if the complaints weren't warranted 3 weeks ago) just remember we are still very much in a hole. We need to sweep mizzou, and win a series @tu, vsLSU, or @UGA to even make a regional.

If we make regionals we need some more arms to step up from the pen to advance. Hopefully this was that step for Jackson. I see Royo got a HR tonight so maybe that helps him come back to the median some and out of his funk. Hoping Sorrell & Kash are ready to field next week.

You mean that it would be deleted? 100% a guess based on the fact that league wants ZERO to do with any kinda of impropriety or misconduct, especially from its own players! The absolute last thing in the world they want is players saying a game wasn't fair. If a coach said this it would be a really big fine.

Jace LaViolette had a hell of a response this weekend at the plate, less than a week after D1Baseball's Kendall Rogers said on the daily TexAgs show on YouTube that a scout told him he liked Caden Sorrell as a prospect more than LaViolette.

Kendall is an Aggie. He grew up an Aggie his entire life and has a degree from there. He also runs a successful business that pays the bills for his family, where he needs to be, to a large degree, unbiased. So, he cannot be a homer, nor should we expect him to. That's the real deal.

I agree with the scout tbh, but Jace is definitely building back some of that stock he lost earlier this year. Happy for him.

That may be intentional, if the case. Solves a lot of issues and speculations. Unfortunately. I talk to him holidays and randomly when I'm totally melting about Aggie sports but he doesn't respond. He knows better….so I do not know his travel schedule, either. Hah the consummate professional.
