It wouldn't shock me. I don't think we should. Next year is seeming like a semi-rebuild anyways so it makes sense to just hire a coach who's been there and done that to build it back. (I'd go for Wes Johnson)

If it's Earley and nobody of note transfers out, I'll be cautiously optimistic that we could be a 2/3 seed in a regional. He needs to get some serious arms from the portal though.

It would make zero sense to give Earley a second year. zero.

It was an Experiment hire to begin with and I don't fault hiring him and trying that Experiment given the specific circumstances.

But that Experiment definitely failed. preseason #1 to … missing the post season including an epic collapse this weekend.
