I think getting a midweek cancelled last minute also through off the rhythm of the week. IMO we needed that win and to get some guys out of slumps.

The offense has been sputtering since the midweek before Texas so I think beating a big 12 team on the road with a good offensive showing would have done wonders for some guys in the lineup

I was thinking about what changed between the great final game win over lsu and now. The only think is the ninth inning meltdown in game 1 of MO. Early blamed it on lack of execution of the pitchers, instead of having their back and acknowledging his huge failure of management in the situation. I think that was demoralizing and they quit playing for him, probably not intentionally. That will get him fired IMO. The only other possibility I can think of is he was already going to be replaced and they found out. That seems unlikely because I think we would all have heard that.

In any case, something is terribly wrong because we aren't even competing.

I was positive but his lineup change and Friday. Ight loss to mizzou is a fireable offense.

Crazy that they clawed their way back in the tourney playing against the 1 or 2 ranked teams 4 weeks in a row only to be knocked out by 0-24 mizzou. They came in with a team ERA of 10. I've never seen any SEC team with a team era of ****in 10...and they held us to 2 runs on 6 hits over the last 25 innings.

It's srs and Jace last home series no excuse for this turd we laid.

Don't understand this response to what I posted. In no way am I excusing what happened this weekend. Even in the discussions about moving Jace to the top of the lineup I was only pointing out that putting a hitter like Jace at the top of the lineup is not at all unusual in the age of analytics driven baseball.
