They've got 2 and half hours to find their bats for next game. Really disappointed in our at bats against their pitcher, should've been able to do much more against her
It seems implied that she'd be pitching again tomorrow, and in both games if we could manage to force the if necessary game.

Their pitcher today beat us. Of course, their bats had a big part in it but we had only 3 hits most of the game and got 2 more late. Hard to win against a good team if the bats are not working.

Recall Liberty last year at Georgia regional. They beat Georgia to get to the final but then Georgia came back and won three to advance. Liberty needed only one out in the last game but Georgia scored a couple to get the win.

If my research is right…
The last overall #1 seed to lose a game in their regional was cal, in 2012. They then went on to the WCWS and were eliminated in the semifinals.
So, still a chance for the Ags!.

Also, recall Liberty knocked #2 seed UCLA out of their regional the year before Georgia. This will be the third consecutive year they have done really well in a regional.

They're a great team, although many casuals on here just see the name and make assumptions. That being said, we should be able to beat them. Today they had better at bats. Let's win tonight and bring a new mindset tomorrow!
Tonight at 6, then if we win, we play Liberty tomorrow at 3 and 5:30 if needed

Since the second game is right after the first tomorrow, I'd agree that she will not throw that second game if it comes to it. Definitely will be able to throw 1-2 innings if they need her

To be fair we were gifted most of those runs by their horrible defense. I agree though that we brought a lot of those 8 runs onto ourselves with misplays in key moments. Lots to improve on if we want to make it out of our own regional.

Partially agree. The top of our order was miserable today (1 for 19). Mya and Mac have combined for 0 hits so far in this regional. Need the stars to step up if we want to win 3 games in a row.

Sam Show threw over 400 pitches in the Lafayette regional in 2016. She was pretty worn out at the end.
