Volleyball exceeded expectations a bit in the postseason. So, there's that.
I'm still confused on that fly ball that was ruled foul. The Liberty player clearly touched it with her foot in fair territory…is that not a fair ball?

Bummed by the result. Credit to Liberty, they were clearly ready for Kennedy today. After the showing we had in the SECT i for sure thought this was the year we made it back to the world series. I can't even imagine how the pitching staff looks next year. The two freshmen are going to have to develop hard in the offseason to be able to complete full games. Interesting to see what Ford says in the postgame.

Only thing that matters is the ball. It looked fair, but we never saw a definitive angle.

It was extremely disappointing to become the first ever No. 1 seed that failed to advance to the Super Regional. Congratulations to Liberty for playing 3 great games, including 2 against us, to advance to the Super Regional for the first time in school history.

I believe it's where the ball is at the point it is touched. Not where the player has their feet.

They did not have a fantastic year. Losing in the regional final is not a standard we should aspire to. Especially as a #1 overall seed.

Only saving grace is that we generally don't see a lot of softball trivia. Except for softball questions, but ironically, those are seldom about softball either, and even more ironically, shouldn't be called softball questions anyway if you've ever been hit by a softball.
