That's the difference in a coach that instills his requirements and one that is their buddy.
I hated that approach when we were playing that guy at tcu, but I loved it just as much when it was us. It's very much a "might lose the battle but I'm going to win the war" approach. Still absolutely unfathomable that ME went away from this so much this year and seeing first-hand how much stress it puts on the other side and how it puts your guys in position to hit.

My only thought is he thought (as did I with my stupid HR thread) we were going to hit 150 HR this year. Still don't understand how we are here.

To be fair, I read that Missouri was holding its top two pitchers for Hoover. Still doesn't explain why we couldn't be their 3rd starter.
