And they have a MBB title in the same time period.

Do we win more games than they do, on average? yes.

Do they have more titles than we do in mens sports over the same period? still yes.

There's no trophy for being average, and if there were, we would have them ALL baby. We dont. It means jack ***** Our athletic department, writ large, is ass.

We win nothing, and just go "awww jeepers, that's just them breaks" and pull our wallets out for another similar disappointing ass-beating the following year.

We are, across the board, a much more competitive athletic department than them. It's not even close. I can't believe some of you are stuck on this idea of a national title in a Big 3 sport or nothing. That is absurd. You'd rather be completely irrelevant sans a basketball national title from several years ago? From golf to tennis (won the national title and played to defend it this year) to softball to baseball to track, etc, we've been a factor in almost every sport we play over the last 5 years (longer than that). Some of you act like if you don't win the national title, you might as well have been last. The problem is, that single national title doesn't last. If we sucked across the board, none of you would be sitting here claiming "doesn't matter, win the title 5 years ago in sport A." You'd be asking why we aren't better across the board.

He got here a year ago and in that year the Big 3 have all taken a nosedive. His most notable achievement was playing a role in running off the best baseball coach in the country (I know, Jim's a jackass, but it's true) and replacing him with his utterly inexperienced and unqualified hitting coach.

I'm sure there's people that know things I don't, but until they feel like sharing with the class, I don't see any reasons why Trev *wouldn't* be hated. It certainly looks like he was brought in to slash budgets and take the fall for it. When the donors feel like spending again, we'll fire him

Firing his support staff without asking and playing chicken with the stadium renovations certainly didn't help the situation.

Don't let hatred for Schloss blind you. I despise him but can also acknowledge that A&M didn't hold up its end of the bargain. Pineapple man was right, we're never getting that stadium renovation, or at least not anytime soon. Firing Jimbo emptied our pockets and we no longer have the money to compete with the big dogs
