Sounds like the Ags have been pretty aggresive on the base path. I like it. Even if it doesn't work out sometimes. Roster is filled with speedsters.

Like to hear that. She had two good seasons at Ole Miss as an underclassman before coming to A&M. And her time in CS has been volatile since. Hope she keeps it going. Going to need her arm coming into the game in the clutch.

I have the same take as yesterday. They're working on finding their identity offensively. Taking risks and pressing the action in games. Does not mean they aren't playing to win. Coach Ford is seeing what she has now so she can adjust accordingly later.

Watch how their SD pitcher goes to her back pocket before every pitch. It's either a routine habit or she has a substance to help give her the high spin rate.
You didn't. There's a pattern there imo. Maybe not making adjustments, maybe ball placement. Makes me wonder if there is something between the ears there.

No one said they aren't "playing to win". They are making too many poor base running decisions. Coach Ford isn't saying to the players lets go out and run into outs now and adjust in a few weeks and not run into those outs later.
Happy for Grace getting 2k's after giving up the big hit. Saw that yesterday from Lessentine if I'm not mistaken. Hope that's a good trend to keep the focus and moving forward in adversity.

Personally I would bring in a new pitcher unless the Aggies put up a few extra runs this inning.
