We have only held a lead for 1 out over the entire 28 innings (4 games) we have played this season against other top 25 teams. There is no way that stands. I predict this nightcap against Duke will see that change in a big way.

What is Ford's obsession with forcing Munnerlyn in high pressure situations??? Lessentine was lights out, why would you pull her. No wonder it backfired.
Additionally, if a pitching change is needed and Peters is available, why wait until the trouble has been created to bring her in.
Now both of you with the same question. Because Munnerlyn and Lessentine are "it" girls for the rest of this season and likely the program the next 2 future seasons. And they need to be counted on for those situations. These games against high level opponents don't mean as much as our conference games.

Not sure why you are saying this game doesn't matter? It's a top 25 game and matters immensely to our RPI at the end of the season, which determines our ability to host or not when it comes to regionals and super regionals (since we're mansplaining).
You play to win period. That's the game and that's how our coaches should call it at Texas A&M.

I didn't say they don't matter,I said they don't mean as much. You make a good point about RPI. Think series vs LSU, Texas, Georgia, and OU define the season more. Just my opinion.

It isn't an either / or with the games in these tournaments against the quality opponents and those SEC games you mention. Why not choose both?
And there is absolutely a time and place for all of our arms in these games. The question today is what do you do late in a 1-1 tied game.
