I'm not pretending the entire meltdown is on him, but you simply can't lay down on the infield with a live ball and a runner at third just because you made an error.
Any possibility he could've been hurt in the moment or had the wind knocked out of him? It was a pretty awkward slip. That's why if you're the other middle infielder you need to be on that. I don't think Kellner was moping, I think he wasn't sure if he was okay/was possibly confused at what just happened…
I guess we'll just have to disagree. What I saw looked like a player who was frustrated about making an error and lost situational awareness. I'm not saying Earley should've chewed him out on the field but I would've been fine with a mid-inning defensive replacement in that situation.

That's sounds like excuses. I like Kellner and think he is a great talent but he F'd up. I don't mind the physical error..it happens. His pouting about the error cost us a run. I guarantee his teammates will let him know that is unacceptable.

My bad, too. War Fish was not posted because I was traveling most of the day. I was hoping Lance or Trouble would start the thread early in the morning, like Lance used to do, so I could post War Fish before I headed out. I liked when the threads started just after midnight or at least around 0700 hours (7 a.m. National Guard Time).

Thanks yall. Looks like no baby tonight. Finishing up an iv, and being treated for an infection, then headed home.
Baby is scheduled for eviction on Wednesday, so either these contractions actually do something before then, or she gets evicted then.

This was a very disappointing loss that snapped our 6-game winning streak and 7-game SEC winning streak. Hopefully, we bounce back with a game 2 win tomorrow to give ourselves a chance to win the series on Sunday.
