lost 2 now, so same number as Auburn

Can't really complain about not challenging anymore. Auburn hitters haven't been allowed to challenge either.

I can only recall one or two batter challenges this whole tourney although I have not paid close attention to every game. Most by far have been catchers. Note the challenge has to be immediate, a player does not have the time to look into the dugout for help.

That looked about like the same pitch as the Grahovac punch out that was hotly contested. I can't believe it was a strike this time either.
It wasn't, the ABS in this tournament is 2 inches taller, lower, and wider than the plate. They put a buffer zone in and that's what it hit.

I've heard that discussed and still haven't been able to process it. If your using technology to call balls and strikes, I can't figure out why a buffer makes sense.

a buffer makes sense because college pitchers aren't MLB pitchers. Without the buffer there would be 40 walks a game.
