I just thought of something. The further Georgia goes, the worse they're going to be next year. Georgia more than anyone has been building portal heavy teams and they're missing out on fully focusing on the portal right now.

Feels like until they make a calendar change, making Omaha is a every other year deal. If you're good enough to make it your reward is missing out on 80% of the best players in the portal. Not gonna be many back-to-back trips to Omaha for anyone

What caused the change?
He said it comes down to if he's viewed as a starter or reliever at the next level. A starter increases his value/stock. It also depends on the organization that's willing to draft him.
If he makes a shocking return to A&M for another year, he would most likely be a weekend starter to raise his stock IMO

Tons of guys being added to our radar today. Today is Enright's official move in day.
Wade Cooper, who's been speculated to be one of the silent commits, is set to visit tomorrow. My bet here is he wants to talk with Enright before potentially announcing his commitment. Kimble had a good visit yesterday. Jarret Williams visits Thursday.
The visits are gonna start ramping up this week on both sides

Pitching-wise: Lots of talk about Wade Cooper, but I'm very bullish on Kimble. Fish pitcher at UH who struck out our top 3/high draft pick hitters straight up. Some big league stuff by both of these guys

Does Freshcorn have one or two years of eligibility remaining? I know he played one year at McLennan JC and then two at A&M, but I can't keep track of NCAA eligibility rules and I don't know if his year at McLennan counts towards his eligibility.
If he still has two years of leverage I could see him possibly benefiting from one more year at A&M.

Yes, my point was since I only see A&M listed for his college career, I'm assuming McClennan didn't count towards his eligibility.

Solitaria can play, he'd be a solid addition for any SEC team. I saw him vs LSU back in February and he went 2-5 with a 3 run jack.
Also went 5-10 and 2 BB when they took a series against Tennessee. After 7 games against Southeastern Louisiana (RPI #76), LSU, and UT, he was hitting over .500 with 4 HR. Appears to have trailed off in conference play, but he did very well the best pitching he faced.
Both of them have the benefit of potentially not being one year rentals as well
