Maybe he is, maybe he isn't. You have no idea. Quit acting like the media.

The problem is none of those numbers are remotely accurate when it comes to actual cases. ANd I also disagree with that statement that they are only testing people who they think have it. K nkow for a fact they have tested people who had been in contact with people who had just been in contact with people but no symptoms of being sick.Yukon Cornelius said:CassiusClay said:

Really?
Only 360 positive covid out of 8,700 tested. Less than 5% have it that are tested and they are only testing those who they think have it.
If he closes down Texas for those numbers it will be a travesty.

As far as timing. Friday TAMU System extended work from home till May 1. 6 weeks longer than was originally planned after Spring Break.
The Texas Department of Emergency Management is a big part of running the govt response in Texas. The Director of the Texas Department of Emergency Management reports to the TAMUS Chancellor because TDEM is part of the AM System.
Use logic to think about how, what, and why decisions are being made and you will quickly realize that April 3 is not going to signal an "all clear, back to work".

Same. Expanding medical capacity is a good thing.dermdoc said:AGHouston11 said:

We need all hands on deck. A lot of health work being done does not require a lot of expertise.
I like what he is saying as we can open up more hospital beds with his executive orders. Very common sense.

Presentation does not matter, only actions do. Give the guy a break.
