I was in Kroger & Wal-Mart today and they both had brand name TP.

You can get everything you are looking for if you are willing to go on Ebay and pay a premium. Far better than going to 4 or 5 stores and getting sick.planoaggie123 said:
We are running semi low on sanitizing wipes.
We are not going out minus walks, etc.
We are taking the assumption our house is "sterile".
All mail (snail mail and packages) are going into a corner of our garage for 4 days of quarantine.
All delivered packaged foods is being wiped with wipes. Fruit, etc are just being washed down carefully. Hands are washed after.
We just do the best we can. I do wish we had more wipes...
....wash hands.Jet Black said:
Get in car. Drive to store. Go in. Get what I need. Drive home. Get out of car.

for TP...... a different solution........
if you are "regular" and only go once or twice a day and you really run out and are at home.....
wait until you have to go.....then shower after.

I've read that a lot of people are taking this time to bake, or learn how to bake, their own bread tooAust Ag said:
What's the deal with flour? People making a bunch of cakes? I mean, ALOT of cakes?
Well, I guess that's a good thing. Bet some people have some funny stories about their first "bread attempts".walton91 said:I've read that a lot of people are taking this time to bake, or learn how to bake, their own bread tooAust Ag said:

Not saying you need to shower. I'm just saying... people go to the bathroom a lot more than twice a day.
Sorry.
And yes I use TP for #1. Of course. Do... do men not need to? I really don't know.
There's a super simple beer bread recipe going around tik-tok, instagram, and twitter right now.Aust Ag said:

Really disappointed today. Picked up curbside my Kroger order I had to place four days ago. 1/3 of it not filled and not subsitututed. Yet there is no way they let me know. I am severly limitted my time out. Went just over three weeks staying home. This was my out time and I did a DG at opening elder hour and a Braums. I would have bought some things there IF Kroger had notified me they did not have bacon for instance. I allowed subsitution so I take that to mean in the last four days they have had NO bacon. Otherwise they are not setting things aside for order and it is just random if you manage to get anything... I see why people are risking their lives and actually going into the store. I know for sure now I will have to get out again at least to braums. Does anyone know if they will sell grocery things through the drive through or do I have to take a chance and go inside?
I have been bathing in hand sanitizer... I just had a personal panic attack after reading the back of Clorox wipes... apparently you have to use enough wipes to make sure the surface is wet for 4 minutes in order to sanitize the the surface well... FML.JMac03 said:
We are getting out 1-2x's a week to go to the store between shopping for us and getting stuff my inlaws/parents need that they were not able to order.
I found a huge thing of TP at Lowe's CS Wednesday about 3PM. Twice last week I passed up Clorox wipes and now I am kicking myself for it.
We wipe everything down that comes into the house with a clorox wipe and throw packaging away when not needed. I then wipe down cabinets & door handles and then take a shower/change clothes.
I wipe down everything in my car that I touch after leaving a store and use hand sanitizer.
I'm far from an expert, so take it with a gigantic grain of salt. Assuming you're talking about sanitizing something that you're not going to be constantly touching, I think you'd be okay with a Clorox wipe followed by washing your hands.Tx-Ag2010 said:I have been bathing in hand sanitizer... What kinda BS marketing allows them to make claims that they kill 99.9% of virus if allowed to be damp for 4 min when the wipe evaporates within 15-20 seconds even fresh out of the box.
That was my thought as well. It might not be 99.9% but its probably 90%+. I guess ill start soaking stuff for 5 min in a 1% sodium hypochlorite solution.BowSowy said:I'm far from an expert, so take it with a gigantic grain of salt. Are you talking about things like groceries that you bring into your home? Non-perishables should be fine if you wipe them down and let them sit on the shelf for a day or two. Perishables should be good if you cook them (I believe I've read there's no known transmission through cooked food).Tx-Ag2010 said:That was my thought as well.
