just had moderna #2 and I may just cut my arm off and be done
My wife had her second yesterday. At this rate I may do everyone a favor and put her down.

Is it actually that bad? It seems like the reactions being posted on this forum are mostly bad
Would make same recommendation especially for people not very much at risk for severe Covid. It will be a matter of weeks if not days before people are able to sign up for the others at will, not sure why anybody would get the Moderna one.aggiepaintrain said:
If y'all have a choice pass on the Moderna
I wish I would have waited and took Phizer or JJ
day 3, finally feeling close to 100% after dose 2

My wife and I had Moderna shot #1 last Tuesday. Thursday I was feeling pretty good other than my arm. Thursday night, just over 48 hours after the shot, my throat started feeling funny, then I got a very low grade temp, then every joint in my legs and feet started aching. I took a Sudafed and went to bed. Woke up Friday feeling fine. Sunday my wife started feeling off. Now she has a low grade fever and spent most of the morning in bed. We are scheduled to get shot #2 the week before our second anniversary. Not sure if we should try to push it back or not. After having last year's anniversary trip canceled I would hate to end up with both of us being sick this year and missing a vacation.

Disagree completely. Who are you to recommmend someone to suffer for a 48 hour period in order to get a vaccine slightly earlier for something that would likely equate to a minor sinus infection if they were to get it? I have friends that signed up for and got the J&J shot and were done with almost no symptoms entirely within my waiting time for the second Moderna shot.Tex117 said:Bad advice.GE said:Would make same recommendation especially for people not very much at risk for severe Covid. If you can get the vaccine, get it.
Rope off about 36 hours to feel a little crummy, and go on about your business.
