Fitch will have her time. but you need to go back and watch the tape. Hellmuth was nails tonight and last night. She deserves props not the venom being served up.
Fully agree with you. Hellmuth had a quality night. Not sure why there is some agenda here to make her a goat. No one in our rotation tonight was perfect. Far from it. This is a competitive sport.

Huge crowd tonight. Not sure if they announced attendance, but has to be a record

There is only one other outside hitter in the SEC hitting less than .200 that starts.

She is a starter. She is in the main starting rotation. Just because she doesn't "start" when the official 6 go out there. Emily is a 1st stringer

Yep. She is a starter. To deny that is just stupid.

Pull the stats and prove me wrong.

Above all I trust Jamie, but love him for trusting Fitch with the season on the line there. Fitch is a very highly touted recruit out of a dominant Cornerstone Christian program in San Antonio. She's been regarded for her defensive ability all throughout her prep career. Tonight Hellmuth struggled in serve receive so Jamie made the change and it paid off. We'll see if Louisville attacks Hellmuth and how she responds, but it's great knowing Fitch can play back there as well. Humphrey came in also and had a beautiful dig

nope. surprisingly only 5300 and some change. We had 5800 last night right?

I think this is about it as far as attendance expectations. I have basically zero friends who watched the match on TV and plenty watching the OSU/Indiana game which have absolutely nothing to do with us.
Student attendance might bump up here and there but we need to get the immediate community more engaged as well as the nearby giant glob of humans known as Houstonians to come.

Don't forget about this play from Hellmuth to end the 3rd set!
I've never seen this before. We are serving but as we prepare for the block, Waak and Hellmuth switches sides.
Maybe it isn't as crazy as I think it is. Seemed genius to me.
