The Aggies trailed LSU at halftime in their quarterfinal game of the SEC Tournament. Needing a big performance, they turned to the SEC Freshman of they year, Chennedy Carter. Carter delivered with 27 points, nine rebounds and seven assists.

In their first appearance at this year's SEC Tournament in Nashville, the Aggies dominated Arkansas to the tune of a 30-point victory. Danni Williams led the way with 22 points, SEC Freshman of the Year Chennedy Carter filled up the stat sheet and Anriel Howard contributed a double-double.
