In a rematch of a tightly-contest Saturday ballgame, Texas A&M softball had no answers for mighty Oklahoma in the final of the Norman Regional as the top-ranked Sooners run-ruled the Aggies, 20-0. The loss brings Texas A&M's 2022 season to a close.

With Saturday afternoon's rally coming up just short against #1 Oklahoma, Aggie softball pieced together a comeback win in its evening rematch against Minnesota to avoid elimination and advance to the Norman Regional final with Jo Evans' 1,300th career victory.

#5 Florida manufactured three runs in the first inning as #12 Texas A&M had no answer for the Gators' speed. The Aggies attempted to rally back but ultimately fell in the second round of the SEC Tournament, 4-1.

Powered by Trinity Cannon's three-run double and Shaylee Ackerman's late dominance in the circle, A&M softball earned its first-ever SEC Tournament win after downing South Carolina, 5-3, on Tuesday night. The Aggies will now face fifth-seeded Florida on Wednesday afternoon.

Plagued by an early deficit and a four-run fifth inning by No. 5 Arkansas, Texas A&M's rally came up short as they dropped the series finale, 9-5 on Sunday. With the regular season over, the Aggies will now turn their attention to South Carolina in the SEC Tournament.

Jo Evans and the Aggies jumped out to an early lead courtesy of a Katie Dack two-run homer in the first, but No. 5 Arkansas refused to be held down as the Razorbacks evened the weekend series by taking down Texas A&M, 7-3.

Underdogs yet again, Texas A&M pulled off another thrilling upset as the Aggies took the series opener from No. 5 Arkansas in nine innings, 6-5. Katie Dack's walk-off single scored Alexis Tippit to secure A&M's sixth SEC win of the year as the Ags fight for a postseason berth.

Despite falling on Friday and Saturday, the Texas A&M softball team claimed the series finale on Sunday over No. 23 Louisiana State, 5-4. An early homer from Haley Lee set the tone as the Aggie offense recorded 11 hits on the afternoon.

Jo Evans' Aggies refused to roll over after No. 23 jumped out to a big lead early, but Texas A&M's comeback efforts ultimately fell short on Saturday. Following the 11-8 loss to the Tigers, Texas A&M will look to salvage Sunday's series finale.

Scoreless until the seventh inning, a solo home run from Ali Newland was just enough for No. 23 LSU to squeeze by Texas A&M in Friday's series opener. With a chance to respond, the Aggies failed to garner momentum and were left with a heartbreaking loss.

After blowing out the Wildcats in the first two games of a weekend series, Texas A&M completed a clean sweep of Abilene Christian with a 5-2 win in the Sunday finale. Makinzy Herzog was 2-for-3 at the plate, while Emiley Kennedy earned her eighth win in the circle.

A hot-hitting fourth inning was more than enough to put Friday night's series opener against Abilene Christian out of reach in dominating fashion. All 12 Aggies that appeared scored at least once with three players driving in a home run each.

With a Southeastern Conference series on the line, Texas A&M dropped the Sunday finale to the sixth-ranked Florida Gators at Davis Diamond, 11-3. Behind three errors and poor performances in the circle, the Aggies had no answer for Florida's potent offense.

Leading 2-0 entering the sixth, Texas A&M pitching surrendered one in the sixth and two in the seventh as No. 6 Florida emerged victorious in Friday's series opener at Davis Diamond. The Aggies were even one strike away from pulling off an upset.
