1. Great ceremony and great win. House went crazy after that Cole breakaway.
2. Timmy T paying dividends already. Hope Kari is okay but I feel a lot better wih TT than with Ellis.
3. No Zubie? He must be under lockdown in Russia.

Kari's head practically bounced off the crossbar. I would not be surprised if he's got a week+ concussion rehab.

Fantastic game last night. I was very emotional seeing how Mike Modano has always been my favorite player. So glad I got to experience that ceremony. Then great game followed. Some very sloppy play and facepalm moments by the stars, but glad they pulled out the win.
Also, glad Kari just has a concussion and nothing more serious. He got drilled hard and could have easily been something much worse. Glad they picked up Time Thomas. Great trade since he played well last night.

Feel like an idiot for not realizing this thread was hiding out here until today but am definitely jumping in for the last 18 games + playoffs.
Gonna be very interesting watching TT tonight against Columbus. For whatever reason, they've had the Stars number here recently, but the team is playing lights out at the AAC right now.
What a weekend of sports at the AAC with the greatness of Modano on Saturday night sandwiched between two really good Mavs games.
Really hope Benn and Seguin can stay as hot as they've been lately, they'll have to carry this team to a playoff spot even if we get Kari back quickly.

Watched some of the ceremony this morning. I'm not the most hardcore Stars fan, but by far the coolest thing from that ceremony in my mind was seeing Troy, Roger, Dirk, Ro, MY all there to congratulate Modano. It was almost like this exclusive club, the best of the best, like Modano was receiving his "green jacket". If only Nolan, Pudge, and Emmett had been there and I think you would have been viewing the very best pro athletes ever to grace the Dallas sports scene.

Loved watching MikeMo. Everyone going crazy when he scored the empty netter to clinch against the Ducks back in '08. That game was awesome! Drove up and back from CS in one night.

Yes the game had started and it was 1-0. The game is postponed and they have not yet set a date for the makeup. Glad to see he is in stable condition.
Word is he asked Ruff how much time was left in the 1st when he came to, wanted to go back in the game. Glad he was in good spirits. Sobering stuff at the AAC tonight. T&P still going up, but glad to know he's stable and awake.

Was at the game. Helpless feeling not knowing what was happening. Nobody there had a clue. Not even twitter. People in our section were taking roll trying to figure out who it was.
Glad Raptor Jesus is okay. Hope he can come back to hockey at some point.
Tonight's game is going to be tough. The Blues have absolutely owned us as of late. Hopefully the Pevs incident will give the team some extra motivation. At least old man Thomas will be rested.

I think after something like that you just hope he can live a normal life. It sucks, but his professional hockey career is almost certainly over. I'm just glad he didn't die on the bench.
