Seguin beat that icing. Refs ****ed us royally in this one.
Goligowski is awful. Hard to say that about any pro athlete but that guy is a part of so many bad plays and poor decisions with the puck that it boggles my mind.
That Seguin icing call was brutal.
We couldn't catch a break with an 2XL glove. Questionable significant calls from the officials taking us out of a game we desperately were trying to stay in. Bounces not going our way. The list goes on. We were obviously exhausted playing one of the best and most talented teams all around in the league. Kari was once again huge. We gotta win more faceoffs or we cant even start to talk about our lack of depth at offense.
Overall we gotta find a way to win every night. (I know....obviously easier said then done.)
Time to get some rest and give it our best on friday against the Preds.

I bet every one of Phoenix's three fans are celebrating that big win over the Pens...
Phoenix wins again. We're now 5 points back (on the bright side, we have 2 games in hand). It's pretty much a necessity to get 4 points over these next 2. As long as we can keep pace with the coyotes, it will come down to that last game. I just hope we can get there.
I can't take another year without the playoffs. I've been telling myself all season that it's a strong possibility we won't make it, but that this team is headed in the right direction. Well, that doesn't make it any easier. Not to mention my 6 year old will be devastated. He has become obsessed with the Stars this year (finally, and much to my pleasant surprise), and he knows that we have tickets for the playoffs...bad parenting move letting him in on that one, I know.

6 year old Stars fan, awesome! I think I was about 8 before I really started loving the Stars.
I'm not kidding, EVERY DAY he gets home from school and gets his little hockey stick and a ball and pretends he's playing for the Stars. Needless to say, I'm very proud and am now looking into skating lessons.
Nice! I played hockey when I was young but it was on roller blades. Still loved it though!
Looks like Phoenix is going to make these last few games a moot point.
Don't look now, but the Wild are falling back. They're 6 points up but with 2 in hand on the Stars. They're 3-9 over their last 12 and still have Phoenix, Chicago, Pittsburgh, Boston, and St. Louis on the schedule. (I'm choosing to remain an optimist here). We just really need back-to-back wins in the worst kind of way and hopefully we can catch Minnesota or Phoenix over these last 10.

Pucks were finally finding the back of the net last night like they haven't in a while. Thoroughly enjoyable to watch. Let's just hope they can keep it up tonight.

Going to be a tough one tonight. It will be the star's luck that the coyotes and wild tie tonight and they both come away with points.
Taking 2 from da blues today. Coming off a dominant performance im feeling us going undefeated the rest of the season.
That'd be nice. We just need our d step up and have an all around offensive performance just like last night. We can't have Lehtonen, Benn & Seguin carry this team through everything.
Apparently there's a possibility that Seguin won't play tonight (soreness) AND there's a "bug" making its way through the locker room.
Ralphie just tweeted. Tyler and Kari are both IN tonight. Great news!
