I said on draft day that you guys got the best player in the draft. I don't that his ceiling is quite as high as Kovalchuk's, but he is a very similar player. Paired together with Seguin and Benn they are the best line in the NHL.

People say Nichu reminds them of Malkin, but for me I see Jagr. When both have they puck it is almost impossible to get them off it, especially along the boards. I also love the way Nichu bulls his way to the net; much like Jagr. If he is anywhere close to Jagr's (or Kovalchuk's) greatness I will be VERY happy!

Stars are terrible in OT/ shootouts. They just can't seem to finish games. Hopefully these youngsters will learn soon.

What TV provider do you have? The entire game was on Direct TV. It was shown on the alternate FSSW channel.

Damn good win for the Stars. Jamie Benn taught Tommy Lasorda to never turn his back on him again.

They have a real good shot at making the playoffs. The west is tough, but this team keeps on getting better. They are an exciting team to watch, win or lose. The future of this franchise is looking good.

Stars also need better team play on offense. Most of the night it consisted of one guy getting in the zone and taking a shot...reminded me of a basketball team who's only good player is the point guard so everyone stands around at the three point line while he drives the lane...and misses
