I love this quote from 100 Degree Hockey: "Val Nichushkin ended his time in Cedar Park with a ten minute misconduct after getting into it with Acolaste. Asked about the chippiness toward him, he commented, "I think it's that everybody tries to play better with a player whose played in the NHL before."

Maybe it's the translation, but I read that as a burn against the opposing AHLers!
