I understand. Just suggesting that they would be a great "regular" sponsor. They have name recognition in most of Europe and a lot in the US. Not sure about the rest of the world. Note that Ford, McDonald's and Nike have worldwide name recognition but I do not think a 'Shiner Bock' patch on her kit would mean more beer sales for Shiner when she is playing around the world.

There is a tremendous amount of great beers in Europe I don't think I have ever had a bad beer over there at all and have been all over. My wife and I were in Montenegro and Dubrovnik about over Memorial Day weekend and well into June and had some great stuff there

Frustrating knowing they have beaten us for some transfers & they probably did money under the table before the portal even opened.

Chris Young is the Chairman of the NCAA selection committee for the Men's tournament as well. It's a case of being corrupted by power and arrogance. I wonder if he also tampered with getting Lincer from UCF now. My thought is it has to be.

1) Jordan is an Aggie and I want to see him succeed - just not at our expense
2) It would raise questions about his recruiting while at A&M and our NCAA title

It's important to note this case was more than the typical tampering (contact through 3rd parties, family, etc.) that essentially all schools are doing across all sports.

There was a clear paper trail of 100+ direct communications between the OSU head coach and players. The head coach would not cooperate with the investigation and then concealed evidence from the investigation.

And the worst part - convinced and colluded with a current player to conceal the same evidence despite her hesitation.

Do I think Jordan and most top coaches tamper in the traditional way? Likely.

Really hope nothing like this, however.

Thanks for the update and for mentioning the time. Could not watch today but she won again in singles, 6-1, 6-0. On to QF. If you can let me know the time she plays next I might be able to watch it.

Lulu and her partner, seeded #1, fell 4-6, 1-6 to two Chinese girls. Darn it.

But she has her singles QF match tomorrow. If she wins, she might face one of the Chinese girls who beat her today. The Chinese girl is seeded #1 so would be a great win!

Ava played in the W75 Lexington this week. She didn't win, but the fact that she was in a pro tournament at that level seems promising.

Side question: How long until Lexington gets 75 W's in college?

I see Lulu won again, in singles. 6-2, 6-4. The #1 seed Chinese girl also won so it will be #1 vs #3 in one of the semifinals tomorrow.

TV on Saturday?

The smaller tournaments are generally not on regular telly but watchable on various websites. Luckily, a few of the regulars on the thread often post links to specific matches - thanks again to those who do!

I have not yet found a site that will show live video of Lulu's SF match today but will look again later. Might have to simply follow via 'live updates' (score only). Not as good as video but you can follow matches point by point and that is certainly better than seeing only a final result.
