He had the best car by a ton in practice. Wrecked it and his team (having the shop in their backyard since it's Charlotte) basically made the backup car exactly to spec all night. Rolled it up at 5am. Ross having a rocket ship wasn't a weird thing.

The only weird thing was Hamlin seemingly ****ing Byron over

Cousin Carl absolutely has to be a part of Nascar broadcasts going forward. That post race interview with Byron was fantastic. I'm so glad he's back with the sport. This was much needed after the early season sleep that Harvick and Bowyer put us in.

This has been a much better race in Stage 2. They have been bunched up and racing. Of course it's all the cautions keeping them bunched up.

He's in a mid life crisis trying to figure out why he's not liked. It's easy to see from afar but he can't figure it out so now he's doing his heel move and it's also as dorky and forced as anything else he's ever done.

This has been an absolutely brutal stretch for Bowman. Glad he seems okay after that hit. Thought immediately about his back injuries when I saw it.
