SRV's cover of Voodoo Chile is my #1. Didn't see it mentioned yet.

Just days after her death, Kristofferson was in the studio where Joplin had been recording her latest album and heard her sing his song.
"She never did sing it when I was around," he says. "And it just tore me up. Cause it starts out just with her at the beginning. Guitar, you know. And then the band kicks in. And I can just see her saying, "Wait till that mother------ sees this. Wait till he hears how you're supposed to sing it"

While it may not strictly be a cover, Chris Cornell's version of Metallica's One, sung to the tune of U2's One, is amazing.

Oh ****, that was really great!

Anybody ever get sucked down the YouTube rabbit hole of this guy Mike Masse?
He has recorded his 'sets' playing at a pizza parlor, but I'll be damned if his voice isn't amazing. It's like he has a built in auto tune in his throat, technically so spot on. It's kind of hilarious to watch him just pour his heart and sing beautifully, and hear all the pizza parlor chatter in the background and a smattering of polite applause at the end.
He has about a million videos on his channel playing just about every classic rock hit, but I especially love that he covers a ton of Radiohead songs, even some of their b sides. Here he is doing one of my favorite rh songs

Leo Maracchioli (sp?) cover of Baby Shark.
I have an almost-3-year-old. Don't judge.
