Fargo always has an element of supernatural. But this undead stuff is a bit more unusual than usual.

I get the feeling this will be the third-best season.

Thanks for this. I didn't notice it on the other episodes this season like people in that thread did, but last night's was REALLY bad for us. We were wondering if it was somehow Covid related.

When the episode just dropped, I'd say yes just out of courtesy if it's any kind of genuine spoiler.

This last ep definitely ramped up the stakes on multiple levels, going to be fun to see where things go from here.

Looking into previous seasons, in Season 1 the Kansas City mob is run by Moses Tripoli (AKA Hanzee Dent) which send Mr Wrench and Mr Numbers on a hit to take out Lorne Malvo. Lorne Malvo then goes on a rampage killing the Kansas City mob (linked below).

In addition to the Mike Milligan season 2 tie (speculated previously), at the end of season 4 we may see some ties into Hanzee Dent and/or Lorne Malvo.

Sunday night's ep was great. Oraetta is off the deep end.

Kelsey Chow is not a good actress. She's not good in Yellowstone, and not good in this.

Prediction: The ghoul we keep seeing glimpses of is protecting the young girl. There will be a climactic shootout / struggle at the morgue where the ghoul will defend her and help her survive or get away.

I like that theory. Also we're 2 days out from air time, no need for the spoiler tag other than you're just bein real nice.

Also, I think Kelsey is doing fine as Swanee Capps. It's not the greatest performance of the season but I've enjoyed that duo enough and don't feel like she's holding the character back.

I'm really enjoying this season and everything is coming together for the back half push to the finish. About to be a brother vs brother show down.

The only complaint is that there might be too many characters. No one has really dominated the screen time or overall performances. There are some very strong characters no doubt. But I felt they haven't had their time to shine and take over the show.

Won't be disappointed if all the Fadda people wind up dead.

Still not sure where Ethelrida fits in to the big picture.

Am rooting for Foy and family (even though he is an organized crime family boss).

Will have to reevaluate ever dating a nurse - was usually a really good time. Oraetta gives me pause

The plagiarism from S2 didn't go so smoothly.

Surprised there is not much discussion about season 4, especially with the lack of new shows out. Two episodes left, a lot of loose ends need to be taken care of. I'm liking this season more than season 3. First two seasons were incredibly good.

Salvatore is an Italian Nacho. Talks and looks like Jack Black's character in Nacho Libre.

This season has been fantastic but I'm now 2 behind. Traveling and working a ton but when I get back this weekend and I'm not watching the masters, cfb or NFL I'll definitely catch up... So basically triple header on Sunday night.

Same. We've been consistently behind like 2 episodes this whole season but I've really been enjoying it. Probably behind S1 (one of my favorite seasons of any show, ever) and S2 at this point, but for me personally this has felt like the most Coen-esque of all the seasons. Can't wait to get caught up.

I'd still rank this season well below season 2. Can't decide if it will finish above or below season 1.

Yes, it absolutely was and I couldn't get past that. Locations get recycled, but that was just too much.

Unless it ends with a flourish it will be below season 1 for sure. This season desperately needed a central character, who Ethelrida looked to be at the start, but she's been an afterthought for the last few episodes.

I also think Rock and Schwartzman are too miscast in too critical of roles. Chris is good at the delivery, especially with the little speeches (probably due to his stand-up background) but he doesn't really play well off other characters and he just isn't that believable in that role. Jason's acting is fine but again, not believable at all in that role and it just doesn't work that well.

I also think Covid screwed up the season as Noah had to patchwork some episodes and obviously wait to shoot the final 2. I heard this Sunday is supposed to be really good so we'll see.

Yeah, I think folks forget how good S1 was. S2 was epic and might be my favorite season of a show ever, but S1 was really really good. I'm enjoying this season but it doesn't have that same quality for me.

One thing that bothers me a bit, where's Rabbi? I get that the Italians are after him, but he can deliver the one thing that Loy has asked of him and I'm sure they'd protect him in that instance. Is there some reason I'm not following that he wouldn't at least get word to them?

yep too many characters and too many side stories to keep it all together. But there are still two episodes left so we will see how it all comes together. But this has a true detective season 2 feel to it for me. Good starting point but struggling to tie it all together. But this show is still better than most shows out there right now.
