This was my first thought as well. I expect this movie to be successful, but I don't think it's a guarantee. My kids are in 4th and 1st, and I don't think they (or their friends) have any idea who the Looney Toons are. When the first Space Jam came out, Looney Toons was having a bit of a renaissance with things like the Kids WB. Im not sure you know how the term "echo chamber" should be used. The people that frequent this board aren't shouting and cheering for the opposite of what the politics board espouses. We're simply asking that people don't try to inject their own politics into every movie/TV discussion on this board. The reason the basketball opinions didn't derail this thread like the political opinion is because you guys didn't raise hell and try to squash basketball opinions. Do the same with political opinions and the same thing would happen with that. There is NOTHING wrong with bringing up Lebron's politics, and if you guys don't want the thread to derail, then the LAST thing you should do is try to shout down people who make a political post.

The E-Board guys are very sensitive here. You are the ones shouting down others talking. This movie looks awful because it is a remake of an equally awful movie. But it is a children's movie, so who cares? Watching adults argue about the merits of children's entertainment is good stuff.
