20 minutes into it and it BLOWS. Did Lebron write the script to try and convince everyone what a great guy he is?? Gag

This is so ridiculous. WB constantly feeling the need to remind every single viewer that they own everything under the sun. Story makes no sense. James is a horrific actor. This performance is Kazaam level bad. Except Shaq is actually likeable and there was a storyline that you could follow.
I also don't remember the original Space Jam feeling the need to prop MJ like this.

I'd actually argue that. Seemed to me that they were trying to play into the nostalgia for people that we're kids during the first one, while also putting a few tidbits in to draw in the new generation.
It's gotta suck to be chasing a ghost you're never catching.

I was never going to see this movie anyway (never saw the first one either as I was 22 when it came out) but the latest trailer they're showing with Porky rapping (Notorious PIG) with the other cartoons and Lebron dancing in the back ground is absolutely effing brutal. I mean just absolutely hacky as hell.

What did any of this movie have to do with China? There are many examples in blockbusters today that play to that market, some over the top. But this is not one of them.
It's just a bad movie. Just say that. WB did not hire a director that could handle meta commentary on pop culture these days like the Lego Movie. It was made for kids and failed to match the same energy for those that liked the original as kids. MJ> Lebron as an actor.

Based on reviews I wasn't planning on watching the entire thing regardless, but I got curious then gave up seven minutes in. That was absolutely awful.
