Any ideas as to why Michonne and the rest of Alexandria is now so tight on security and on letting in new people? They referred to it a few times sorta talking about "since you know...." but never provided the actual answer.

At first I thought it was referencing the events of the last season or so, but now am thinking that something happened between then and this time six years later. Especially after seeing Michonne's scar.

Remembering what happened to Michonne at Woodbury in the comic and wondering if they are going to carry some of that story into some yet to be revealed recent event?

This season is way better than the last few, but man..... It's still pretty bad. I wish I could give this crap up, but I've invested too much damn time into it. Can't quit now.

The description on amazon prime specifically states that the episode takes place six years after ricks disappearance.

All in all, another solid episode. A number of really tense scenes, which was nice.

A couple of my issues...
-How are we still pining over someone dying? Sad, ok sure, but multiple characters wrecked? Come on.
-Likewise, the "what would Carl think" is way over done. "Carl? You mean that kid who died 6 years ago?"

twd got really interesting for several seasons... then the negan thing and some really idiotic episodes .... this season has been pretty good.
