Holy crap, never realized he played Fandral in the Thor movies. But he's not exactly buff as Fandral in those movies and certainly it isn't as buff is that super fake costume makes him look.

He was Fandral in Thor 2/3. 1 was some other dude, because Levi was filming Chuck I think.

I believe the original Fandral from Thor 1 had a conflict with filming the second, iirc due to being on the show Nashvillle.

Movie looks like a lot of fun similar to Deadpool, but unlike Deadpool, one that I can actually take my teenager to go see.

I let the suit bother me at first, but the more I watched the trailers the more I felt like it's part of the gag. I'm great with it at this point.

update: Just saw a 2nd trailer on TV this morning. Doesn't even look like a movie. Comes off like a failed pilot episode for a TV show on the WB network.

Hmm. Looks decent, but that's still not a whole lot shown for a movie that's out in two months. Maybe there will be a third trailer..?

It's really interesting to me that the director has basically only done horror/suspense films before this. I also appreciate not seeing the whole movie, and every climactic scene, in the trailers.

Aquaman digital release has a sneak peak at the movie. It's a minute or two of the scene of Freddy (disabled kid) not believing Billy (Shazam) that he is who he says he is, and they test some of his powers. It's not the scene during the daytime, it's the one that says "I don't know anyone else who knows about this Caped Crusader stuff".

Levi is really perfect for the role (kid in an adult's body), and his chemistry with Dylan-Glazer (Freddy) is going to be really cool to see throughout the movie.

i don't think it's overrated, but i do think its popularity has benefited from only getting one season. of course, you can say that about a lot of one-and-done tv shows

I agree that Firefly is overrated. It wasn't bad, but with the amount of fandom, I was expecting something on the level of Battlestar Galatica, and it wasn't even close.
