They spoiled some in the trailers, sure, but the full movie version of the "I'm bulletproof" was my favorite gag in the movie.

I liked it, it was fun. Felt like a 90s comic book movie, in a good way.
After seeing that one deadly sin with wings I now really want a live action Gargoyles movie.
That was a fun movie.

i thought it was a lot of fun and another step in the right direction by DC. also very happy for zach levi who, at least based on a few interviews i've heard, seems like a really good dude.
but did anybody else think levi was a little too goofy at times? i get it, he's a 14yr old, but we didn't really see billy act like that, so why would he as shazam? i actually noticed it even more at the end because i thought adam brody nailed it as super-freddie.
just a minor observation, didn't really impact my enjoyment of the movie.

Finally saw this over the weekend and loved it. Haven't laughed that much at the theater since Guardians 2 and Ragnarok.
Zachary Levi is perfect for that role. Will definitely be seeing the sequel.
I hope we see more films like this from DC that don't take themselves too seriously.

Finally got around to watching this, even after all the great and funny reviews. This was definitely a fun movie, even with how dark it started out. Had our group laughing throughout the whole movie. Will definitely have to look into the Shazam past and get a better look at his superhero world.
Levi and Strong were brilliant in this movie. Didn't know Strong could pull off such a great villain.

But Tinker Tailor Soldier Spy, Brothers Grimsby, and Kingsman were more heroicish roles.

Honestly I completely forgot he was in Green lantern, but I also try to block that out for Ryan Reynolds sake..
Watched it last night. It had some funny moments but pretty meh for me.
His Sinestro was probably the only good part of the movie

Recently watched. This movie was average, but I seem to be in the minority.
Just watched this on a flight and also thought it was average. As with a lot of these, the origin and setup drug on forever... I'm a fan of Levi though and I haven't seen Adam Brody pop up in a while... Long enough for him to get all old...
From the trailers I thought it was geared toward a younger audience. Sure enough my 12 yr old son absolutely loved it. He likes all the super hero movies but I've never seen him react as much as he did watching this.
