I thought so too but it might have been too much for the kids in the audience

Apparently they think the humor is "too American"

Off the top of my head, better than:
Thor 1, 2
Iron Man 2, 3
Hulk
Cap 1
Ant Man 1, 2
Captain Marvel
Black Panther
Arguable:
Ultron
Civil War
Guardians 2
Spider-Man Homecoming

Also he has buffed up/roided up a lot. Had not realized it was him when he was in Mrs. Maiselbearamedic99 said:
Why is hard to believe that is Chuck? Because he is less nerdy?
A lot of your complaints are pretty common in movies (bad guy taking too long and missing his chance, stereotypical characters, etc).AquaCasaAg said:

I'll be a little harder on it than most here. Many of the funny scenes didn't resonate with me because parts of them are in previews so it stole the moments thunder... The two punk high schoolers seemed too stereotypical. The conclusion with the mom I presume everybody could see coming. The cops couldn't find his mom but the kid could? I felt like the villain was beating around the bush when they were fighting and should have tried to kill him while he was stronger instead of focusing on the power transfer.
I did enjoy the scenes when they were flying and were too far apart for the speech and the attempt to see if just the suit was bulletproof. Maybe I'll enjoy it more on a second viewing.
