This isn't one that I was ever really hoping to see a sequel made, but the first one was so freaking good, I assume I'll see the sequel. I felt like the first one really just stands well on its own and nothing about it begs for more, but again, they did so well with the first one that they've earned my follow up business.

wouldn't mind this one to maybe be same exact time frame with different or maybe even before & during their initial invasion, then a 3rd movie dealing with the eradication of them.

I liked the first one, and I'm very anti-suspense movies. This sequel looks great! I love Emily Blunt though, so she's a big influence in my impression.

I enjoyed the first enough. Right now I would prefer that they make a straight sequel rather than filling in any back story.
