No need to create an elaborate lie. Just dump his body in the same place as all the guys that "took a ride to the train station" and then call the police when he doesn't show up for work for two days. "Officer, he left work late and never showed up for two days...that's why I'm worried and called you."
Dutton said explicitly that it was for the assistant's family to worry about. So, take it they just dumped the body as someone said above. Dutton knows their revenge will take care of the assistant's assailants as well but it won't be communicated. They may have kept the murder weapon and will plant it on the dead Beck brothers so the ballistics match - just a thought.dave94 said:

Jimbo was on Houston radio this morning and they jokingly asked him if he watched anything on Netflix....he said "No....I do try to catch up on Yellowstone, but that's about it"

I like this show, but I wish they'd slow down a bit. The story lines pop up and disappear so dang quick. They need to make this more of a slow burn.
I like the redemption part of Jimmy. Glad he's finally good at something and like that the old man is so invested in him. I was getting tired of him always just being whipping post.
Beth wears me out. I kinda roll my eyes every time she pops onto the scene, because her personality is soooo over the top, all the time, it's hard for me to buy it anymore.
I like Jamie's son, and hearing him explain that he's decided to be a Cowboy. Him talking about the horse non-stop was great.
Kayce's wife, Monica...she wears me out too. She left Kayce, decides she's all in with him, and immediately goes back to worrying/pestering about the same stuff. Good gosh already.

The one annoying thing to me about watching Yellowstone is the HUGE discrepancy of volume when a commercial comes on. The volume nearly doubles. It actually startles me so much I flinch almost every time. Does anyone else notice this? I have to keep my remote in hand to mute the commercials.

I'm really looking forward to Season 3 of Yellowstone being set in Ireland as the Dutton's go connect with their cousins the O'Duttons to try and track down Tate.

I have u verse. The problem is the Paramount channel, not the carrier. Supposedly Spike is similar & the two are owned by the same conglomerate. It's intentional, but way overdone

I'm assuming they cleaned up everything but the glass wall in the middle of the night when it happened. Drywall patched and painted, floors scrubbed, one body in the canyon and two on the bad guy's porch.
That said, this is a melodrama, not a procedural. They aren't going to tie up every forensic loose end, and if they did the show would be worse. Plus, a big theme is how every player has the law in his pocket to some extent, so they would probably call Dutton before showing up at his daughter's office.

But this show doesnt tie up much. It just flies by (even when it's a huge part of the story). Would be interesting side stories to see the lengths they'd have to go through to cover some of this up. instead....'not my concern'
They just call Winston Wolfe and let him handle it, while they move on with the show....

every damned bull**** tv show has this problem, it's just incredible that people allow this crap to happen.
This show isn't alone but when did dialogues start being whispered or mumbled over loud ass background noises? I have to rewind this all the time.
